Snow Day Records första släpp var en 6-spårs-EP med Malmöduon Band In Box, “Everyday     escapes”, vilket också var deras första officiella skiva, efter två demo-CDR:er. På den här tiden bestod bandet av Siri af Burén och Elin Alvehag, men precis innan “Everyday escapes” släpptes hoppade Elin av för att koncentrera sig på sina studier. Siri valde dock att fortsätta utan henne, och har sedan dess spelat in en mängd låtar tillsammans med diverse vänner, och i våras kom det första albumet, “This fiction”, på amerikanska bolaget Stereo Test Kit Records (du kan köpa albumet här).
“Everyday escapes EP” släpptes i augusti 2006, och gjordes på CDR i 50 ex med handgjorda omslag.
Låtarna på skivan är: “Don’t do it again”, “The secret twin”, “Emma”, “Runaway bike”, “Zoo song”, “If you’ll never notice”. Den sista låten är ett bonusspår, hämtat från Band In Box:s första demo.

The first release on Snow Day Records was a six-track EP by Malmö duo Band In Box, “Everyday escapes”, which was also their first official release, after releasing two demo CDR’s by themselves. At this time, the band consisted of Siri af Burén and Elin Alvehag, but just prior to the release of “Everyday escapes”, Elin decided to leave to concentrate on her studies. Siri continued without her, and has since recorded a lot of songs with a little help from her friends, and earlier this year, the debut album, “This fiction”, was released on American label Stereo Test Kit Records (you can buy the album here).
“Everyday escapes EP” was released in August 2006, and was made in 50 copies on CDR with handmade sleeves. The songs on the EP are: “Don’t do it again”, “The secret twin”, “Emma”, “Runaway bike”, “Zoo song”, “If you’ll never notice”. The last song is a bonus track, taken from Band In Box’s very first demo.
